Deadline for uploading ePosters: 12 August 2021
Presenters will receive a dedicated link to upload their ePosters via email early July.
Please submit your ePoster as a PDF file in landscape orientation.
You may use a template for guidance that can be downloaded HERE
For instructions on how to record a short audio file for your ePoster click here.
You are encouraged to include a short 3-5 minute audio recording to accompany your ePoster.
For tips on recording your e-poster audio guide, please watch the video here.
In case you encounter any difficulties with the format, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
By uploading your ePoster and audio file, you agree to having it published in the official Congress publications and on the WMS 2021 website and virtual platform for the duration of 3 months following the WMS 2021 Virtual Congress.
The copying and recording of content presented is prohibited (see Code of Conduct). Presenters are encouraged to indicate in their presentations content presented shall not be shared or copied.
To aid in this, a digital graphic image may be incorporated in the poster. Click here to download.
Presenters may also secure a Digital Object Identifier (DoI) for their presentation by uploading it to an open data sharing repository for posters and slides.
ePoster presenters have the option to include a URL link to their own online personal e-meeting rooms (via Zoom, GoToMeeting, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.) or institutional e-meeting rooms together with their availability, where they can then meet other delegates for interaction and discussion. You can create free zoom meeting rooms here: https://zoom.us/. The presenter takes responsibility for these third-party links and the Organisers are unable to monitor them.
Within the platform, there is a messaging service to facilitate scientific exchange. Messages can be sent by participants directly to the presenter’s email (without seeing the presenters email address) by clicking the envelope icon.
The Prize Committee will review the E-Poster presentations prior to the virtual congress and the Organisers will notify the successful presenters by 17th August 2021. Those presenters will then have a short time to book a recording session with the technical team before the 24th August 2021. The Poster Highlights session is on Friday, 24th September 2021. There will be 6 x 5 minute consecutive pre-recorded presentations followed by 15 minutes live Q&A. The presenter should prepare 3-5 PowerPoint slides (including introduction, main findings, main messages, acknowledgement) to show during the pre-recording and must present data as indicated on the poster.
